A poverty mentality is when you feel you can't have something because of your financial status. This feeling seeps into one's sub-conscious and becomes reality in everything you do. Your home, for example, may be an apartment because you feel you will never be able to afford a house. You're car may be a used, bout to break down vehicle cause you feel you just can't have a new car. As a result, you stop dreaming and planning. Changing your situation is futile. Life hears this and your wants and dreams remain ''wants and dreams'' because what you've put into practice is this mentality of "I can't have anything". I used to think like this. I was a victim of my own thoughts.
One thing that happens before a relationship ends is the entrance of negative thoughts. For example, she's always so high strung and nags all the time. By the end those thoughts manifested into a break up. But what if you changed your negative thoughts into: "How can we get through this"? What if you stopped saying "I can't have this" and started saying "I'm going to have this and this is how!" Or even "I don't have the resources to obtain this but I'm going to figure it out. Now your mentality has switched and you're ready to receive what the universe has heard you command of it. It's really simple. Just look at everything between you and your goals as obstacles and not walls. See yourself there and head in that direction.
